PRINCIPAL LAWYER
Peace Eze is the principal lawyer at Peace Legal with over fourteen years’ experience in legal practice. She bagged her Bachelor of Laws degree from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria and won the Exxon Mobil Scholarship during the years 1997-2002. Subsequently, she was called to the Nigerian and the Alberta Bar, having successfully cleared all qualifying examinations and other certification requirements.
Peace founded our firm, having acquired unparalleled academic and practical legal experience evidenced in her diligent and responsive representation of her clients.
With keen interest in litigation and legal advisory, she has appeared before multi-levels of court both in Canada and Nigeria and offered exemplary legal advice and representation in the areas of Family Law, Criminal Law, Immigration and Refugee Law, Personal Injury Law, Real Estate Law, Employment Law, Child Welfare, Fertility Law, Wills & Estates Law, Intellectual Property Law, Energy Law, Aboriginal Law, Banking & Finance Law, and General Legal Advisory.
Besides her outstanding leadership skills, Peace is smart, courteous, intelligent, and responsible, with great attention to detail and possesses high client management and repainting skills.
She has written on contemporary legal issues and continues to contribute to knowledge on matters relating to area of practice. She is the chief executive officer of LLBiz Academy where she teaches and mentors young lawyers and solo practitioners the business of law.
While not working, Peace loves to sing and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

OBINNA ONONUJU
LEGAL AGENT
Obinna has over 10 years of experience in banking & finance; credit structuring and project financing; customer service; client relationship management, and Securities & Investment Advisory.
He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria. Due to his unquenchable passion for the legal profession, he later obtained a second degree in Law (LL.B) from Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Nigeria.
In 2021, he fulfilled the Federation of Law Societies of Canada examination requirements through the National Committee on Accreditation and obtained his Certificate of Qualification.
He is also a licensed Mutual Funds Advisor, having obtained the Investment Funds in Canada (IFC) and Canada Securities Course (CSC) certificates from the Canadian Securities Institute.
Obinna has an uncanny ability to discern and dissect clients' needs and proffers tailor-made solutions to their problems. His interpersonal and problem-solving skills, combined with his attitude of putting the clients first, and proving legendary client experience, have positioned him to substantially impact an organization's performance and overall success.
Obinna is vocal, charismatic, philosophical, analytic, and a devoted altruist, ready to face slings and arrows in order to stand up for the people and ideas that they believe in. This strength of conviction bolsters his innate leadership skills, particularly his ability to guide people to work together in service of the greater good.
Currently, as a legal agent to Peace Eze, he is presently gaining Canadian legal experience in different areas of law, including Immigration and Refugee Law, Real Estate Law, Criminal Law, Family Law, Personal Injury Law, Banking & Finance Law, Securities Law, and Energy Law.

CHINENYENWA CHUKWUMA (CHINNY)
STUDENT-AT-LAW
Chinny holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria and B.L from the Nigeria Law School. She has successfully completed the Federation of Law Societies of Canada examination requirements through the National Committee on Accreditation and obtained her Certificate of Qualification.
Chinny practices Real Estate Law, Corporate Law, Personal Injury, Immigration Law, Wills and Estates Law and Family Law.
Born and bred in Lagos Nigeria, Chinny is currently articling with us while undergoing the Canadian Centre for Professional Legal Education and the Practice Readiness Education Program.
Chinny is a life-long learner who takes pride in her strife towards perfection. She is also an experienced researcher, communicator, and team-player; skills she looks forward to further developing in her articling year.

JUDITH EKA
LEGAL ASSISTANT
Judith provides exceptional legal support to our lawyers and other legal staff in our firm. She holds a Legal Assistant Diploma from Red Deer College, Alberta and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Abia State University, Nigeria.
Prior to joining us, Judith efficiently discharged her responsibilities while observing her practicum at the Calgary Court House.
Judith is our primary contact. With her high proficiency in use of modern technology, her core responsibilities include management of client files, document preparation and organization and performance of other law firm secretarial duties.

AKINDELE TAWOJU
LEGAL ASSISTANT
Akindele assists lawyers at Peace Legal. He graduated with Distinction and First-Class Honours during his Diploma in Law and Bachelor of Laws programmes at the Osun State University, Osogbo, Nigeria having emerged as the overall best graduating student of his class. As attestation to his outstanding academic ability, he bagged another First Class from the Nigerian Law School where he served meritoriously as group leader to both Nigerian and Internationally trained bar aspirants. Akindele is called to the Nigerian Bar and is currently making efforts to fulfill legal requirements to be called to bar in Canada.
Before joining Peace Legal, Akindele worked as an associate with a top-tier law firm in Lagos, Nigeria where he contributed resourcefully in the representation of reputable Nigerian and international clients on diverse areas of law including but not limited to litigation, project financing, corporate commercial, real estate, employment, oil and gas, power, renewable energy, intellectual property and wills and estates.
In improving himself professionally, Akindele is currently undertaking a graduate programme at the Faculty of Law of the University of Calgary. At Peace Legal, Akindele offers quality legal assistantship service in our areas of practice which are anchored on our firm’s forte of providing responsive, diligent, and top-notch legal services to clients.
Akindele was among the three known black law graduate students at the University of Calgary Faculty of Law who won the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation Scholarship in 2021. His other accolades include: Ron Ghitter Award; Honourable N.D McDermid Graduate Scholarship in Law, University of Calgary; Faculty of Graduate Studies Masters Scholarship, University of Calgary; International Graduate Tuition Award, University of Calgary; Director-General’s Prize for attaining First Class Honours at the Nigerian Law School; Overall Best Student Award, Faculty of Law, Osun State University, 2016/2017 Academic Session; Scholar Award, Osun State University Scholarship Scheme for 2014/2015 Academic Session.
Having written on law topics and conducted academic research for law professors both in Nigeria and Canada, Akindele has also volunteered at different fora for his professional development and contribution to humanity. Akindele reasons critically on legal issues and his diligence, hard work and consistency stand him out.
